Momazons Newsletter, Vol. 1, Issue 1 [April/May 1993]

Subject

Description

Newsletter for the national group about lesbian's experiences and opinions about considering children, creating a family, blending families, childrearing, and other issues of significance to lesbian mothers and their families.

Missions statement: Momazons is a national organization for lesbian mothers and for lesbians who want children in their lives. We provide an opportunity for lesbians and our friends to explore options in bearing, adopting, raising or being involved with children. Momazons facilitates connections between lesbian mothers seeking camaraderie, information and support. We encourage discussions about the impact of our families on our communities. We support the diversity in the lesbian mothering community and are working to create a group that includes the many different ways lesbians choose and have chosen to include children in our lives.
