Oral History with Alexander Tang
Abstract
Alex Tang discusses his involvement with various gay men’s choruses in the Washington, DC, area, along with discussing the ways in which he has interacted with the greater LGBTQ+ community in the DMV. Furthermore, Tang discusses the activist efforts of both Asian LGBTQ+ groups and DC’s gay men’s choruses, and how disagreements arose among various Asian LGBTQ+ organizations regarding racial inclusivity and the extent of activism being practiced.
