Abstract
Cara Gormally interviewed Regina Carlow on July 19, 2022, via zoom. Topics discussed included gay life in the DC metro area from the late 1980s and 1990s, including experiences at bars and clubs; how she came to be the director of the Lesbian and Gay Chorus of Washington, and her experience with the chorus; the chorus as a movement for lesbian and gay people to come out and as an advocacy organization; her career trajectory from elementary and high school music teacher to dean at Towson University.
