School is Not a Gay Place to Be

Warren Blumenfeld highlights the anti-gay climate in educational institutions, citing his own experiences from kindergarten through university.

Blumenfeld, educated in California, documents his own experiences of oppression and alienation in kindergarten, junior high, high school and college, as well as his eventual coming out and membership in the Gay Liberation Front at San Jose State College.
