Abstract
In this interview, Michael discusses his involvement with Anti-LGBT+ Violence activism, AIDS activism including protests and helping start needle exchange programs. He was involved with ACT-UP, OUT, and Queer Nation. He also talks about how the needle exchange program began as a grassroots program, then eventually became an Washington DC Department of Health program, before becoming a Whitman-Walker Health Center program. He also talks about his participation in GLAA. Additionally, Michael talks briefly about the influence and importance of the sodomy law repeal.
